Terms and conditions for The Scent Circle

Prices
All prices of The Scent Circle are indicated in Danish kroner including VAT and other taxes.
Any delivery costs are clearly stated before the customer approves the purchase.
Order
Once the customer has placed an order, the customer receives an order confirmation by e-mail. The customer must verify that the information in the order confirmation is correct.
We reserve the right to account for sold-out items, stock discrepancies, obvious pricing errors, technical errors and force majeure.
Payment
Available payment methods are shown at checkout.
In the case of ordinary purchases, the amount shall not be deducted until the order is dispatched.
A higher amount can never be deducted than that approved by the customer.
Shipping
At present, we only deliver to addresses in Denmark.
The customer selects from the available carriers at checkout.
Delivery to a DAO or Bring parcel shop costs DKK 39. Delivery to a PostNord parcel shop costs DKK 49. Shipping within Denmark is free on orders of DKK 299 or more.
Expected delivery is 2–4 working days from dispatch. Delivery may take longer during promotions, holidays or delays affecting the carrier.
Right of withdrawal
As a consumer, the customer has 14 days' right of withdrawal when purchasing on the web. The deadline runs from the day the customer or a person appointed by the customer receives the goods.
The customer must clearly notify us before the deadline that they wish to cancel their purchase. The notice should be sent to kontakt@duftcirklen.dk.
Simply refusing delivery or failing to collect the parcel does not count as cancellation unless you also notify us.
After the withdrawal notice, the customer has another 14 days to return the item.
Sealed perfume and cosmetic products
Our perfume and cosmetics products come with a clear seal.
The right of withdrawal shall lapse for sealed goods which, for health or hygiene reasons, are not suitable for return once the seal has been broken.
This does not affect your statutory rights to make a claim if an item is faulty or defective.

Send your return parcel directly to the address above. We do not accept returns sent to parcel shops, cash on delivery or without delivery to the address.
Returns must be securely packaged and sent as tracked parcels. DAO letter mail and other untracked postal services cannot be used.
Customers pay the return shipping costs when exercising their right to cancel and bear the risk of loss or damage during return shipping. Please retain your receipt and proof of dispatch.
The customer shall be liable only for any impairment due to handling other than that necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and function of the goods.
Refunds following cancellation
When you validly exercise your right to cancel, we refund the amount paid, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option we offered at the time of purchase.
If the customer chooses a more expensive delivery method, the additional cost will not be refunded.
Refunds are made within 14 days of receiving your notice of cancellation. We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or the customer has provided proof of return.
Refunds are made using the same payment method as the original purchase.
Statutory rights regarding faulty goods
The Danish Sale of Goods Act applies to all purchases from The Scent Circle. Customers have a two-year statutory right to make a claim for defects that were present at delivery, or whose underlying cause was present at the time of delivery.
A broken seal does not affect your statutory rights if the product is faulty or defective.
Complaint must be made within a reasonable time after the error has been discovered. A complaint within two months of discovery will usually be timely.
Contact us at kontakt@duftcirklen.dk, before returning the item. For a valid complaint, we will cover reasonable shipping costs by prior agreement.
Damage, misuse, normal wear and tear, or changes in how the fragrance is experienced that are not caused by an original defect are not covered by the statutory right to make a claim.

Complaints procedure
If the customer wishes to complain, the customer must first contact us at kontakt@duftcirklen.dkso that we can try to find a solution.
If we cannot reach a solution, you can submit a complaint under the applicable rules to Mæglingsteamet for Forbrugerklager (the Consumer Complaints Mediation Team) through Nævnenes Hus at www.naevneneshus.dk.
Laws and regulations
Purchases from The Scent Circle are governed by Danish law. Mandatory consumer rights always apply and cannot be limited by these terms and conditions.
