Return and refund policy

Right of withdrawal

As a consumer, you have 14 days' right of withdrawal when purchasing at The Scent Circle.

The time limit runs from the day on which you or a person designated by you receive the goods.

You must clearly notify us before the deadline that you wish to cancel your purchase. The notice can be sent to kontakt@duftcirklen.dk or delivered via the withdrawal function of The Scent Circle.

Simply refusing delivery or failing to collect the parcel does not count as cancellation unless you also notify us.

After the withdrawal notice you have another 14 days to return the item.

Sealed products

Our perfume and cosmetics products come with a clear seal.

The right of withdrawal shall lapse for sealed goods which, for health or hygiene reasons, are not suitable for return once the seal has been broken.

This does not affect your statutory rights to make a claim if an item is faulty or defective.

We do not accept returns sent to parcel shops, cash on delivery or without delivery to our address.

Return Shipment

You pay the return shipping costs when exercising your right of withdrawal.

Pack the returned item securely and send it as a tracked parcel. DAO letter mail and other untracked postal services cannot be used.

You bear the risk during return shipping and must keep the receipt and proof of postage.

Condition of returned goods

You are only liable for any impairment resulting from handling other than that necessary to determine the nature, properties and function of the goods.

Refund

When you validly exercise your right to cancel, we refund the amount paid, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option we offered at the time of purchase.

If you choose a more expensive delivery method, the additional cost will not be refunded.

The refund will be made within 14 days of receipt of your notice of withdrawal. We may withhold payment until the goods are returned or you have provided proof of the return.

Refunds are made using the same payment method as the original purchase.

Faults, damage and defect claims

Check the item upon receipt. If the item is damaged, incorrect or has an error or defect, please contact us at kontakt@duftcirklen.dk.

You have a two-year statutory right to make a claim for defects under the Danish Sale of Goods Act. A broken seal does not remove this right in the event of a defect.

For a valid defect claim, we cover reasonable shipping costs by prior agreement. Please contact us before returning the item.
